Due to the particularity of the material (strong chemical activity, porous surface, etc.), pretreatment is a major difficulty in Qinfe-B electroplating technology. After years of practice, the following measures can be taken to solve the problem.
1) chamfering
That is, finishing. This process can make the surface of the parts flat, smooth and reduce the micro-area, which is conducive to rapid, uniform and continuous deposition of the coating. Horizontal planetary roller and vibration finishing machine (generally called chamfering machine) are usually used in the equipment. They adopt planetary motion and vibration principle respectively, which can achieve the finishing purpose without damaging parts. Horizontal planetary rollers are mostly used for the finishing of small size parts, while vibratory finishing machines are mostly used for the finishing of larger size parts.
2) Degreasing, pickling and activation. The acidity and alkalinity of degreasing and pickling solutions are too strong to prevent corrosion of electroplating materials, and the additions of complexing substances to neodymium are needed to prevent the oxidation of neodymium. Hydrochloric acid should not be used in pickling solution and activating solution.
3) Ultrasound treatment. Ultrasound cavitation is used to remove oil pollution and acid and alkali in the pore of Qintie-boron. Ultrasound treatment technology should be used as far as possible in the pretreatment according to the situation. In actual operation, plastic mesh is usually used to hold a few parts for manual shaking cleaning, after completing the steps of ultrasonic degreasing, pickling and water washing, the drum electroplating is installed. Although the worker's labor intensity is slightly higher, the cleaning is thorough and the effect is good.
